City inspectors close case involving storage shed rental
GONZALES- The case involving a councilman who charged a woman rent to live in a shed has been closed, authorities said Tuesday.
Building inspectors cited Tim Vessel for issues and dropped their investigation after he made changes and became compliant with laws. Read more about the allegations HERE.
Vessel has been accused of stealing utilities from neighbors and charging Debra Williams hundreds of dollars a month in rent for a typical outdoor storage unit.
Williams said she was evicted when she reported Vessel for theft of electricity. Police said there was no probable cause and Vessel was not arrested.
