BAKER- A city councilman returned $500 to the city after the WBRZ News 2 Investigative Unit uncovered he had taxpayers foot the bill for a trip to Houston, TX. Some questioned if his four day stay was for official city business.

John Givens met with an economic development director one afternoon but there was no record of any other meetings. Click HERE to read the original report.

Since, the mayor changed policies prohibiting people from paying for hotel stays without his approval. Tuesday, the city council is expected to discuss setting other rules.
