BATON ROUGE - The city-parish has completed its final flood debris collection in Old Jefferson and Shenandoah.

Monday, the mayor's office said debris removal was complete in the 70817 zip code and final passes were starting in zip codes 70815, 70816, and 70819.

Debris removal crews began their final pass efforts on November 7, which involve the collection of all flood debris currently placed curbside across flood-affected zip codes in city-limits and unincorporated areas of East Baton Rouge Parish. Once crews conduct a final pass for flood debris collection through each area, they will not be returning.
