City establishes peddling committee
ZACHARY- City leaders will gather in a special committee to look at enacting stricter rules to deal with peddlers after a number of complaints and even arrests recently.
The city's police chief was among those who complained about annoying knocks at the front door. Often, the people knocking don't have the proper permit.
There are restrictions on peddling in other parts of East Baton Rouge and also Ascension, Livingston, and Tangipahoa.
