BATON ROUGE - Fire officials are investigating an early morning fire that damaged a church kitchen facility.

Firefighters responded to a call around 5 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of N. Acadian Thruway West at the annex of New Revelations Ministries.

Officials say the fire started in the rear of the building.

No one was injured in the blaze, but a nearby home sustained some heat damage.
