Crews at LSU have begun setting up the Christmas tree in front of Memorial Tower. The tree features LED lights, which are meant to save energy, and purple and gold ornaments.

In Walker, a 33-foot Norman Fir sits at the corner of Florida and Walker South. The lighting is set for December fifth.
