Chris Pratt filming, fishing near Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - After silver screen adventures with space raccoons and cloned raptors, Hollywood star Chris Pratt is enjoying something simpler while filming The Magnificent Seven in Louisiana: fishing.
The Hollywood star posted a picture on Instagram Thursday of a bass he caught during downtime in filming the remake of the 1960 western with Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke.
"I LOVE LOUISIANA!!" wrote Pratt, who is an avid hunter.
The former TV comedy darling from Parks and Recreation has hit it big with three recent blockbusters, including Louisiana-filmed Jurassic World which recently broke box office records.
The Magnificent Seven is filming in the Baton Rouge, St. Francisville and Zachary areas according to recent casting calls. The remake is being directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) and is scheduled to film through August in south Louisiana.
