DENHAM SPRINGS - An arrest in Livingston Parish led a judge to issue a staggering multi-million dollar bond for the man accused of possessing and distributing hundreds of items of child porn.

The Louisiana Attorney General's Office said a joint investigation led them to charge Brian Schaller of Denham Springs with 500 counts of child porn possession, 40 counts of distribution, and several drug charges on Dec. 12.

After the arrest a judge gave Schaller a $51 million bond amount for the hundreds of charges.

The AG's Office said their undercover investigation led them to get a search warrant for Schaller's home on Linder Road, where they discovered the child porn. The investigation also involved the FBI, Homeland Security, the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, and the AG's Cyber Crime Unit.

Schaller remains in jail on the listed bond.
