BATON ROUGE - The efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies led to the arrest of six Louisiana men on child pornography charges this week, according to the Attorney General's Office.

63-year-old Daniel Looper was charged with 46 counts of pornography involving juveniles and one count of possession of pornography involving juveniles following an undercover investigation in St. Bernard Parish. Investigators searched Looper's residence in Arabi on Mar. 16 and previewed electronic storage devices that contained nearly 50 images of child porn. His arrest came as a result of the combined efforts of the state AG's Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations and the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office.

46-year-old Charles Cameron, of Gretna, was charged with one count of production of child pornography and one count of possession. The investigation into Cameron's activity began in February when the Cyber Crime Unit was contacted by Homeland Security Investigators. Authorities executed a search warrant of Cameron's property on Mar. 16 and obtained several images of child porn that were recovered from the man's cellphone.

18-year-old Cole LeBlanc, of Baton Rouge, was booked into EBR Parish Prison on one count of possession and one count of distribution of pornography involving juveniles. The investigation was initiated when law enforcement received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Agents search LeBlanc's home on Mar. 17 and found several images of children engaging in sexual activities or posed in a sexual manner. According to the AG's Office, some of the children are believed to be under 13 years of age. The arrest involved the efforts of the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, FBI, Homeland Security and the Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit.

27-year-old Shane Jeansonne, of Jena, was charged with 100 counts of possession of child pornography and six counts of distribution of child pornography following an undercover investigation by sheriff's deputies in Lasalle Parish, the Cyber Crime Unit, State Police and Homeland Security Investigations. Agents said a search of Jeansonne's apartment on Mar. 18 turned up numerous images of child porn, and he was taken into custody without incident.

21-year-old Ryan Altuchow, of Bossier City, was charged with 140 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles and two counts of distribution of pornography involving juveniles. Investigators said they received a "CyberTip" from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that provided details about a subject trading child porn online. According to investigators, probable cause was developed that led them to Altuchow, and search of his residence on Mar. 18 resulted in the discovery of more than 140 images of child pornography. The juveniles in the images ranged from toddler age up to 13 years, according to the Attorney General's Office.

39-year-old Jonathan Ellis, of Leesville, was charged with 22 counts of possession of child pornography and 10 counts of distribution. Again, CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led investigators to look into Ellis, who was accused of uploading child porn to a social media site. Investigators executed a Mar. 19 search warrant at Army Captain Jonathan Ellis' Leesville residence, and they found numerous files of child pornography during a forensic preview of the man's cellphone and other electronic storage devices on the premises. The arrest came at the end of a joint investigation by the Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security, Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office and Louisiana State Police.
