BATON ROUGE - The Attorney General's Office announced its Cyber Crime Unit arrested four men this week for online crimes that victimized children.

Each of the four men were taken down through separate investigations.

25-year-old John Griffith, of Pineville, was arrested Wednesday and booked into Rapides Parish Prison on charges of one count of computer aided solicitation of a minor and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile. The AG's Office began its investigation of Griffith after they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted of the solicitation charge and another seven for the indecent behavior charge.

35-year-old Robert Gilley, of West Monroe, was arrested Tuesday and booked into Ouachita Parish Jail on charges of 25 counts of distribution of child pornography and 40 counts of child porn possession. His arrest comes after a joint investigation by the Cyber Crime Unit, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office, West Monroe Police, Louisiana State Police, Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI.

42-year-old Christopher Brooks, also of West Monroe, was arrested the same day for distribution of child pornography and booked into the parish prison.

60-year-old Robert Childs, of Bossier City, was arrested Monday on 23 counts of distribution of child pornography and booked into Bossier Maximum Security Facility. The man's arrest followed a joint investigation by the AG's Cyber Crime Unit and the Bossier Parish Marshall's Office. Distribution or possession of child pornography is punishable by up to 20 years in prison for each count in the state.
