PORT ALLEN - The sheriff's office said it is investigating an overnight possible shooting that sources told WBRZ involved a juvenile.

West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Mike Cazes said a shooting situation is under investigation but stopped short of providing specific details in a message to WBRZ Wednesday morning.  Sources said the victim was severely injured in the incident.

It happened on Emily Drive, a stretch of road on the west side of LA 1 between Port Allen and Brusly south of the Port Allen Lock.
