BATON ROUGE- A police chase took over the interstate through the city Wednesday night.
It started in West Baton Rouge when deputies tried to pull a vehicle over. The driver didn't stop, instead sped across the Mississippi River.
Police cars were seen driving down I-10 with lights and sirens.
The chase wound through the downtown area, past the 10/12 split, where the driver headed East on I-10.
Eventually, the person was stopped just off I-10 in a parking lot on Bluebonnet.
The driver was taken into custody. Their name and charges have not been released.
