BATON ROUGE- There's a chance for severe weather Christmas Day.
Tuesday, forecasts call for a 100% chance of rain. Along with it comes a chance of damaging winds, tornadoes and hail.
The rain will leave, likely, by Tuesday evening and the temperature will drop.
Monday, the National Weather Service suggested people secure lawn furniture and anything that high winds could turn into a projectile.
"The data suggests these storms can be severe," WBRZ meteorologists said.
WBRZ will provide updates on WBRZ Channel 2 Tuesday and also update the situation on WBRZ.com.
