Central WR gives verbal commitment to Miami
BATON ROUGE - Central High School wideout Terell Chatman pledged his verbal commitment to the University of Miami this weekend.
The six-foot-four prospect told WBRZ Sports 2 he is being recruited by offensive coordinator James Coley and wide receivers coach Brennan Carroll as an "outside receiver" for the Hurricanes.
"I went down [to Coral Gables] just a couple days ago," said Chatman. "But I just wanted to wait a couple days to come back and talk it over with my coaches first before I committed."
The Central Wildcat senior is ranked as one of the best receivers in the state and a three-star prospect according to Rivals & Scout recruiting services.
