Celebrate the arts with the Laurel Street Palooza
BATON ROUGE - Sandy Parfait joined JP on 2une In to talk about how you can celebrate the arts with the Laurel Street Palooza on Friday, January 10th from 5:30-9:30 pm.
It all happens at the Arts Council (Old Bogan Fire Station) and in the Chase Bank building. There will be lively bands and entertainment, a silent auction and great food. Don't miss the chance to see performances by Michael Foster Project, Ben Bell and the Stardust Boys, Artemis and Kirk Holder.
Each year the Arts Council recognizes two community leaders as King and Queen Palooza for their commitment and dedication to the arts. This year, the Arts Council has chosen Jim Brandt as King Palooza and Mary Ann Sternberg as Queen Palooza.
Tickets are $40.00 a person in advance or $45.00 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. You can order in advance at (225) 344-8558.
