The Baton Rouge Police Department is hosting Boo with the Blue from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The event is family-friendly and will include a haunted house, food and games a costume contest. You'll even be able to check out some of the special equipment used by cops. Boo with the Blue is at the BRPD Headquarters at 9000 Airline Hwy.

There will be scary ghost stories and Halloween Crafts from 4:00-5:00 p.m. this evening at the Bluebonnet Library Branch. Call 225-763-2260 to register.

Some places are also trick or treating tonight. Kids in St. Francisville will take to the streets from 5:00-7:00 p.m., while those in Clinton, Patterson and all of St. Mary Parish do the same an hour later. You can find a full list of trick or treat times HERE.
