CATS to offer Shamrock Shuttle for St. Patrick's Day parade

BATON ROUGE - The Capital Area Transit System will offer its Shamrock Shuttle for people going to the St. Patrick’s Day parade this weekend.

The shuttle will depart from the I-110 Overpass Area downtown where riders can park their cars for free. It will operate from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and take riders to a drop off point near the parade route by City Park.

The shuttle will cost $4 round trip and will be on sale the day of the parade. Only cash will be accepted and exact change is recommended.
 
Starting at 12:30 p.m. shuttle service will be provided from Stanford Drive/Acadian back to the Catholic Life Center at Hundred Oaks for parade participants to return to their cars after the parade.
