CATS to interview two finalists for top job
BATON ROUGE - Officials with the Capitol Area Transit System plan to interview Tuesday the two remaining candidates vying to become the system's next leader.
The search committee narrowed down a list of 10 to local businessmen John Conroy and Robert Mirabito.
Conroy owns a local pest control firm; Mirabito is the former chief information officer for the Baton Rouge Radiology Group.
Whoever is chosen will replace former CEO Brian Marshall, who resigned in April.
The position will be interim as CATS plans to conduct a national search for a permanent replacement over the next several months.
