BATON ROUGE- The Capital Area Transit System will make $15 million dollars in improvements over the next three years, according to CEO Brian Marshall.
The office has drawn criticism for not making the changes fast enough. Marshall says improvements have to deliberate to avoid other problems.
Marshall says the plans include phasing in a network with a website, mobile app and other equipment to better judge performance while making the system more efficient.
Board members say the office has already missed deadlines made after Baton Rouge voters approved a controversial tax plan.
