CATS could seal the deal on CEO
BATON ROUGE- The interim CEO could become a more permanent fixture of the bus company since a committee of the board is proposing hiring him full time.
Bob Mirabito has been leading the bus system since the former CEO resigned amid scandal in May.
Mirabito has been at the helm for a months-long investigation into missing money and accusations of theft by board members. In one situation, a board member resigned and was arrested for using bus company money to pay personal bills.
The committee meets to make a recommendation Thursday to the full board, which meets next week.
