CATS CEO sorry people found comments insulting
BATON ROUGE - The CEO of CATS apologized for comments he feels were misrepresented.
"It was never my intention to offend anyone, and I am sorry that my comments on a recent podcast have distracted our community from our continued push to move our transit system forward," Bob Mirabito said in a news release Tuesday.
His apology comes after some found remarks he made eluding to the racial make up of the city and bus employees insulting.
"My comment, heard in its entirety, was not racially motivated, and I apologize that is the impression it has given people," Mirabito added.
