BATON ROUGE- Catholic schools in Baton Rouge will be open Wednesday, but parents will be responsible for getting their children to school.
This comes after the East Baton Rouge Parish School System canceled classes for Wednesday after a large number of employees said they would be absent so they could attend a political rally at the State Capitol.

Mary Beth Chevalier with the Catholic Diocese says they are disappointed that EBRSB has made this decision and consequently withholding bus service to their students.
