Catholic High running back Derrius Guice set the tone early for a dominant Bears victory over Parkview Baptist in week one of the high school football season.

Guice raced for a 51 yard touchdown on the Bears first snap of the game, and Catholic never looked back en route to a 55-25 win.

Guice rushed for three touchdowns and caught another as the Bears built up a 38-12 halftime lead.

The Bears were leading 24-0 in the second quarter when the Parkview Eagles got on the board with a Aaron Leonard touchdown push.  Quarterback Reggie Hayes would add another strike to Brennan Dorsey to trim the Bears lead in half, 24-12.
