The lifeline that supports thousands of fishermen and their families who are out of money say they've run out.

Catholic Charities received just over a million dollars from BP in May. It was supposed to last a month, but the charities stretched it for 3 months. But now they say, the funds have run dry.

Catholic Charities--along with 25 other non-profit groups.. are asking BP for 12-million for the next 3 months.

A spokesman says they have gotten no response from the oil giant.
