Louisiana could start taking casino winnings from people who owe child support.
144,000 people in Louisiana are more than 30 days behind in paying child support. A bill approved by a senate committee would place database equipment in casinos to provide "real time" information about people who owe money. If someone hits a jackpot totaling more than $1,200, the child support they owed would be removed.
