The head of Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. says the casino company might expand its plans for a new gambling riverboat and hotel complex in Baton Rouge.
CEO Anthony Sanfilippo says Pinnacle is confident it can establish a "best-in-market" gambling complex in Baton Rouge.
Pinnacle plans to compete with two existing casino boats in the city.
The $250 million project currently calls for a 100-room hotel, restaurants and bars, and an entertainment venue.
Pinnacle says about 1,000 people will be employed.
