Cars wreck at site of removed stoplight
BATON ROUGE - A wreck during the afternoon rush in Baton Rouge happened at a busy intersection near LSU where a stoplight was recently removed.
The wreck happened at Burbank and East Boyd Street just after 5 p.m. At least two vehicles were involved.
Baton Rouge Police were already working another wreck in the area involving a flatbed truck when the second wreck happened.
A stoplight for that intersection was recently removed as part of other road construction along Burbank. There the intersections on Burbank before and after East Boyd still have stoplights.
News 2 crews are on the scene and will have more information as it becomes available.
