Cars stall in flood-prone areas following Tuesday evening thunderstorm
BATON ROUGE - A pop-up thunderstorm Tuesday afternoon left standing water in some flood-prone areas of Baton Rouge.
WBRZ cameras captured several cars stalled out on Essen Lane near I-10. Reports of high water also came in from the Jefferson Highway/Corporate Boulevard/Old Hammond Highway area.
Similar weather to what we experience Tuesday is expected throughout the rest of the week.
