BATON ROUGE - One person was transported to the hospital Monday night after a car crashed into an electric pole.

The accident happened on Geronimo St. in Baton Rouge. Few details are known at the time of this post, but a News 2 Crew was on scene when one person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. A witness says the car was driving erratically.

"They went into the ditch and cam out flying," he says. "They were going so fast, I just took off running. I'm trying to stay alive."
