BATON ROUGE – A man was arrested Friday afternoon after a police chase ended with him crashing his vehicle through a building on Florida Street.

The wreck happened at the corner of Atkinson Street and Florida around 3:30. Police say the driver was taken into custody, but did not immediately provide details on what prompted the chase in the first place.
