Car crash causes fire and power outage
UPDATE: The crash has been cleared. Power is still out in the area.
According to officials, a car flipped on its side after hitting a utility pole on Terrace Avenue near Thomas H. Delpit. Baton Rouge firefighters arrived on the scene around 2:30 a.m. A gas line caught fire. Firefighters sprayed water on the area to prevent the adjacent houses from catching fire.
