Calmes won't get new trial, ordered to prison
DENHAM SPRINGS- A motorcycle dealer facing prison time for money laundering will not get a new trial.
Kevin Calmes asked a judge in Baton Rouge Wednesday for a new trial, sighting new evidence. The request was denied.
Calmes was told to report to prison next week to begin serving his sentence.
Calmes was found guilty of laundering drug money through Calmes Motorsports, his business.
