Call for more data privacy
WASHINGTON- There's a call from the White House for Congress to pass new legislation to add more safeguards for data and more protections for emails sought by law enforcement during investigations.
President Obama asked for a review in January and the recommendations were made.
The President called for changes to some of the National Security Agency's surveillance programs that collect huge amounts of data belonging to Americans and foreigners.
