Cajuns race to early lead, hold on for 34-10 win
ULL Ragin Cajun head coach Mark Hudspeth challenged his team to light the spark early in their road game at Texas State and his team responded right away.
Right out of the gate former Capitol quarterback Terrance Broadway connected with Elijah Maguire on a 62 yard touchdown toss on the second play of the game and the Cajuns raced out to a 21-3 halftime lead over the Bobcats.
Broadway finished the night with 14 of 21 passing for 225 yards a touchdown and an interception. He also contributed 113 yards on the ground as the Cajuns cruised past the Bobcats 34-10 for their second straight win.
Maguire had a pair of touchdowns and fellow back
Alonzo Harris rushed for 79 yards and a score.
The Cajuns are back in action Tuesday night in Cajun Field as they host Arkansas State.
