Busy night of play on tap
UNDATED - There are 11 games on the schedule this evening in the NBA.
In Memphis the top two teams in the Southwest Division are squaring off as the Grizzlies play host to the Spurs. San Antonio comes in with a 2 ½ game lead over the Grizzlies.
The 20-14 Hawks, who have lost four straight, are playing host to Utah. The Jazz have won two straight and are a game over .500 at 19-18.
A year or more ago a meeting of the Lakers and Thunder would have drawn a lot of attention, but with the Lakers having such a mediocre season, tonight's meeting isn't as attractive as some in the past. That said, it's still a matchup of Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant.
The Knicks and Bulls have always been a good pairing as well and tonight they square off again, this time in New York. The Knicks top the Atlantic Division while the Bulls reside in second place in the Central.
Wrapping things up, Charlotte is at Toronto, Boston is home to Houston, Phoenix is playing at Brooklyn, the Pistons are facing the Bucks in Milwaukee, Cleveland is on the road in Denver to meet the Nuggets and Portland is at Golden State.
