A business owner from Kenner shot and killed one alleged robber and injured an accomplice.

According to authorities the owner of a check cashing business was leaving work when he was approached by three men in the parking lot.

Police say one of the men hit the owner over the head with a gun.

The owner then pulled out his own gun and shot the attempted robber.

The second alleged thief was wounded and taken to the hospital, and the third remains on the loose.
