Homeland Security's division of immigration customs enforcement will check for compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
Technical violations carry fines of up to $1,100 each.
Knowingly hiring an undocumented worker - and filling out forms to hide the employment - carry fines of up to $3,200 for each violation.
