Agriculture and Forestry leaders have issued a statewide burn ban. The order was issued after the latest wildfire near Holden, LA.

Several residents were put on standby to evacuate. At least one fire fighter had to seek medical treatment for heat exhaustion.

The dry conditions prompted the ban. The ban will be in place until further notice.
