Burglary suspect sought in Gonzales

GONZALES - Police in Gonzales released the name of a man wanted for stealing from vehicles parked a city store.
Sgt. Steven Nethken said officers had a warrant for Sammy Saed Salman, 22, on suspicion of theft, simple burglary of vehicles, and possession of stolen things.
Nethken said Salman stole items from a vehicle at the Walmart on Airline Highway on Jan. 27. His last known address was on Ervin Villar in Prairieville.
Nethken said anyone with information on Salman's location should call Gonzales PD at (225) 647-9527.
