Burglary suspect shot overnight
BATON ROUGE - A teen is under arrest after police say he broke into a home Wednesday morning.
According to investigators, the 19-year-old was shot inside a home on Adams Ave. while trying to burglarize the residence.
The teen was found injured just after 1a.m. about a block away on Monroe Ave.
He was taken to a local hospital and charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
