BRUSLY- Police are looking for a thief after 11 unlocked cars were burglarized in the Brusly Oaks subdivision Sunday night.

The thief ransacked the unlocked vehicles, stealing prescription pills, electronics and at least one gun.

"Opened up my passenger door, which was unlocked, and just so happened, my glove box was opened and everything was all over the place," said Neil Landry, who normally leaves his truck locked.

Landry was upset the one night he forgot to lock his truck, it got burglarized, but now he's more vigilant about locking up.

"It's my fault for not locking my vehicle you know, I mean we live in a good subdivision, where nothing ever happens, but I guess it's a learning experience for everybody," said Landry.

Police are following leads to find the thief. If you have information that could help contact the Brusly Police Department.
