Bruins look to clinch first CWS title
OMAHA - Known for great success in men's basketball and several NCAA championships, UCLA is on the verge of winning its first NCAA baseball crown.
The Bruins took a 1-0 lead in the best of three College World Series last night with Game 2 this evening in Omaha. The Bruins beat Mississippi State in the opening game with a 3-1 win.
UCLA, which is 48-17 on the season, will send Nick Vander Tuig to the mound tonight against Mississippi State's Ben Bracewell or Will Cox.
If the Bulldogs win tonight the third and final game will be played tomorrow night in Omaha.
