BATON ROUGE - Police confirmed to News 2 a department helicopter spotted the truck belonging to a missing LSU student earlier today.
They said the helicopter noticed the truck, which was overturned on LA 30 south of Baton Rouge near the Iberville Parish line, and landed to investigate.
Police confirmed it is the vehicle belonging to Chris Broussard, whose family said has been missing since early Tuesday morning. Police did not release any information about Broussard's whereabouts or condition, however.
His mother said she last heard from Broussard when he texted her that he was leaving a party near LSU around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
