BRPD to host police body camera public meeting next week
BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Police Department is set to hold a public meeting next week to field questions from area residents about police body cameras and the process of implementing them.
The BRPD body camera forum will be held on Tuesday, Mar. 1 at the MLK Community Center located at 4000 Gus Young Ave. The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
Baton Rouge Police Chief Carl Dabadie Jr., State Representative C. Denise Marcelle and Councilman LaMont Cole will host the event. The Body Camera Study Committee will also be there to answer questions from the public about the body cameras and where the department is in the process of equipping its officers with them.
