BRPD searching for suspect in Highland gas station armed robbery

BATON ROUGE- Baton Rouge Police Detectives are attempting to identify a man accused of robbing a gas station on Highland Road.

The incident happened at the Chevron Station in the 2900 block of Highland Road Tuesday night around 10: 15 p.m.

According to BRPD, the suspect walked into the store armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene on foot.

There were no reported injuries.

According to BRPD, the suspect is identified as a black male around 6‘5 to 6‘7 in height, wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans with black and grey shoes.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the armed robbery unit at 389-384.
