BATON ROUGE - A 46-year-old man was killed in the 3700 block of Geronimo St. Friday night around midnight, according to Baton Rouge Police Cpl. L'Jean McKneely.

McKneely says C.J. Grisby Jr. was shot in the face while standing in his driveway in what is believed to be an attempted robbery.

Grisby was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The shooting suspect is a black male, according to McKneely.
