BRPD: MP tried to run over her fiancee
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a military police officer in Baton Rouge after they said she tried to run her fiancee over.
BRPD said Mictissa Moseley, 24, was in her car with her fiancee and their one-year-old daughter just after 1 a.m. Tuesday when it happened. Police said Moseley and her fiancee were arguing when she started punching and kicking him, then made him get out of the car.
Investigators said while Moseley's fiancee was calling for another ride she returned and tried to run him over. Police said the fiancee ran into a vacant lot to avoid being hit and Moseley sped off the road after him, hitting a tree when she lost control of the car.
Police said Moseley told them at the scene she was trying to kill her fiancee, who is also a military police officer, and the only thing she did wrong was leaving the child in the car.
Authorities booked Moseley into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for attempted second degree murder and cruelty to a juvenile.
