BRPD: Man dies three days after shooting
BATON ROUGE - Police said a man shot earlier this week in Baton Rouge died Thursday due to complications from his injuries.
Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said Shelby Holmes, 38, was shot multiple times the night of Monday, Oct. 21, and died after spending three days in critical condition.
Investigators said Holmes was shot while walking home in the 1700 block of Braddock Street. They do not have a motive for the shooting at this time.
