BRPD: Man arrested after hitting woman, child
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a Baton Rouge man this weekend after they said he hit and woman and a teen during an argument.
Police accused Robert Brown, 34, of domestic abuse battery, simple battery and cruelty to juveniles after the incident Sunday.
According to investigators, Brown and the woman were arguing because the 14-year-old boy was playing video games. During the fight Brown punched the woman in the face several times. The boy tried to leave, but police said Brown hit him before he got away.
Brown told police he was wrestling with the two of them, which caused their injuries.
Brown was booked into the parish prison on a $5,500 bond.
