BRPD looking for credit card thieves
BATON ROUGE - Detectives are attempting to identify two suspects who tried to use several stolen cards on January 13th at a local Target store. The cards were taken in a vehicle burglary earlier the same day and were canceled by the owner as soon as the theft was discovered. The attached store security video shows the suspects:
6:45pm Suspect at register trying to use a stolen card, she is declined. She is a young white female, dark hair, wearing black pants, black shirt with pink writing on front, pink soled shoes, carrying a purse.
6:46pm Different angle, same white female suspect walking out of the store.
8:17pm Different suspect, this one a black male wearing all dark clothes and a black hat, walking out of the store. He had just tried to use a different card, stolen in the same vehicle burglary, and was also declined. He is carrying a small Target bag containing some item he legitimately purchased before trying to use the stolen card.
8:17pm The white female suspect is back again with a different stolen card and tries using it again. Presumably she and the black male suspect were in the store at the same time and working together. She is once again unsuccessful.
8:18pm Different angle, same white female suspect walking out of store again.
Anyone recognizing either of these suspects or having information on their identities is urged to contact the Burglary Division at 389-3824 or Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
